Why Do Printed Bags Get Dirty Easily And Leave Fingerprints?

A client approached HiPack with a reference sample, seeking improvements. The initial sample had issues with the logo color and surface appearance, which looked unclean due to visible flecks, although they were not dirt.

Overcoming Production Challenges

The first issue we tackled was achieving the desired logo effect. The client wanted a shiny black finish, which required mastering the foil stamping temperature and delay time. We perfected these parameters to produce a bright, consistent black logo.

The second challenge was the uneven matte finish of the sample bag’s surface.

The original method involved using black-colored glue applied through a lamination process, resulting in color inconsistencies due to varying glue thickness. T

his cost-saving measure compromised quality, leading to an unsatisfactory finish.

Our solution includes using 100% black base printing, along with a more refined lamination process and higher quality materials. We ensured the printing was even and the surface finish was uniformly matte. The improvements resulted in a cleaner, more professional appearance that met the client’s high standards.

HiPack’s commitment to quality and precision ensured the final product was superior in both appearance and functionality, ready to impress in competitive procurement processes.
